New computer!

The Opera Workshop ended over a week ago, and I had to take a five day trip to Toronto to do some other sorts of work. This work was quite remunerative, so I was able to buy a brand new computer -- a 2.4 gHz iMac, one of the new ones with a 24" LCD screen. Damn, it's beautiful (it's the one on the right ...)

So now I'm back from Toronto, and free of 24/7 opera, I'm going to start painting again, which I've missed so much.

Look for some new work soon!

Studio Shot Tuesday

Littleput Books suggested that we post photos of our studios today. I do find it fascinating seeing where other artists work (although my space is seriously unfascinating!) This is one angle of my workshop -- at right angles to it is my computer desk with printers, fax, etc. But this is my worktop, and the tools of my craft.

I've done almost nothing at it for close to a month -- I'm still finishing off my opera workshop (HSOW), but I'm really looking forward to having some more time to create!

Serenade Coquette made the front page of Etsy!

I'm featured in a treasury of faces on the front page of Etsy.com, and I'm thrilled! Thanks so much to the curator David Moore ...
